Global Beat Club News

The Tidy Boys have released a statement concerning the future of the hard dance label, Tidy, and their own DJ work.

The Tidy Boys originally announced they had bought the Tidy label from the owners (Music Factory Entertainment Group) at the end of Tidy Weekender 15. The truth, as they explain in the statement, is the deal had not been closed. The deal subsequently fell through.

The Boys go on to say they will be playing less gigs in '09 and will be concentrating on their other businesses. They will still be playing "a few bigger gigs, a few festivals, a bit of Ibiza action and some special events."

Poor old Justice are having a hard week. Last Thursday the duo admitted in an interview that their album [†] contained at least 400 uncleared samples, and now comes this photo which shows the pair faking it during a live set.

The MIDI controller on the left ain’t plugged in, but the tall fuzzy-haired one is pretending that it is - he’s got an intense concentrated look on his face whilst moving the faders and knobs. Busted!
